Who I am
While it is difficult to distill the essence of who I am into a bio, what I want to convey is my care and passion for what I do. Whether it is through the art I create, the relationships I nourish, or massages I give, my intention is to pour myself into everything through integration and embodiment.
Embodiment to me is a state of being, an intuitive knowing that comes through sensing the body and nervous system rather than interpreting it through cognition and intellect — it is feeling rather than thinking or fixing. It is being, not doing. That’s the spirit I bring to every session. Integration is how we take all of the pieces of what we know and put it into cohesive embodied practice.
My name is Sophia McPhee (she/her) and I became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in 2021, and I’ve spent the last several years working with clients across both clinical and creative landscapes. I graduated with my Master of Arts in Somatic Counseling with concentration in Body Psychotherapy at Naropa University in May 2026, which has exponentially deepened my understanding of the nervous system and body’s innate intelligence.
I specialize in Integrative Massage Therapy, a slow and intuitive style that links limbs together through broad, flowing movements and collaborative awareness. I’m not here to “work on you.” I’m here to be with you.
My mission is to holistically facilitate healing of the body, mind, and spirit ~ especially for those who give so much of themselves to the world. I feel especially called to work with artists, performers, and those in high-demanding roles and industries who are ready to come back to their bodies and be deeply supported in the process.
